Null
How sharing works
The short version. When you tap Share, Null
uploads your master files plus a small compressed preview of each version.
Anyone with the link can play that preview in a web browser and download the
master files. The link expires and the files are permanently deleted after
3 days.
What uploads
- Your master files.
- A compressed preview of each version, generated on your device, so the link plays in a browser without the app.
- The session’s details — title, artist, tempo, key, version labels, and loudness.
- Any review notes you added.
What someone with the link can do
- Open the session in the Null app.
- Or, with no app, play the compressed preview in a web browser and download your original master files.
The link is unguessable, there are no accounts, and anyone you send it to can open it and pass it on.
When it goes away
3 days after you create the link it stops working and the files are permanently deleted. You can also stop a share at any time — open the session in the app and choose Stop sharing.
